According to this article on Financial Times, Amazon.com is looking to enter the US wine market via online sales and is hiring a senior wine buyer. With a $30m inviestmetn of Wineshopper.com back in 1999, it’s no wonder why Amazon would be looking to help grow that market segment. Here’s a snip:
